How do I register for PIMS?
Registration is simple and fast. You can register for free in less than a minute by going to our online registration page. Paid subscriptions are also available based on the number of items you want to track.
How much does it cost?
We have different packages based on the number of items you want to track.
If I have a paid membership, how am I billed?
Your credit card will be billed monthly. You can cancel your account at any time however, you will be responsible for the current card charges.
How can I cancel my account?
To cancel your account, simply log into Pims, go to the administration screen and click on cancel my account. Please note that once you go ahead with cancelling your account, we will remove any information that you created. If you are using a paid account, you will still be responsible for the current monthly charges.
How many people can use my account?
We do not have a limit on the number of people who can use your account so feel free to create additional accounts as you need them. The number of users will not impact your membership level.
Will it really make me a better spouse?
Well...we cannot guarantee that you will actually fix the dishwasher but we will definitely send you enough reminders that you will still have time to call a professional and take all the credit for it!
Can large businesses benefit from using PIMS?
Absolutely. PIMS is useful regardless of the number of items you want to track. And, since we do not charge you a per-user fee, you can have everyone in your organization be involved in keeping things working and in order. Growing companies can benefit from Pims SAAS offering and focus their available income towards growth rather than hardware & software costs.
I have a great idea to improve PIMS, how do I contact you?
We always welcome ideas and feedback! We also have a developer/partner program so if you not only have great ideas but can also execute them, you should get in touch with us by logging into your account and going to the feedback page.
These 2D barcodes look neat but how do I use them?
Aren't they cool! These barcodes really go a long way! Here is the easy way to use them. To print (where do you obtain the bar codes? give link to site or where to print them), any printer will do but we get our best results using a decent laser or ink-jet printer. Some people will laminate the code and affix it to the equipment they want to track.
As far a reading the code. Any cell phone with a decent camera will do the trick. You will need a code reader; most of them are free. We use I-nigma (http://www.i-nigma.com/Downloadi-nigmaReader.html) and Quickmark (http://www.quickmark.cn)though this is not an endorsement in any way, shape, or form.
Do I have to install anything?
No. Pims is a Software as a Service (SAAS) meaning that as long as you have a browser and an internet connection, you will be able to use it. And yes, you can access PIMS though your smartphone as well. We take care of the software back-up, upgrade, and maintenance. You will always be using the lastest, most stable, version of PIMS.
How can I let my friends know about PIMS?
We really appreciate referrals and word of mouth. Here is the simplest way to do it: Send your friends to the registration page and tell them to enter your email address in the coupon code area. This allows us to thank you for taking the time to help us!
